The Possibility Curve

May 9, 2010 My three sons, Connor, Nick and Joey are home and we are sitting down to a reasonable feast. My sons razor sharp minds and are never shy about letting me know when my ideas are good, bad or ugly. Most of the time, I think, that they think my ideas are simply boring.

However, this particular evening I threw out my NEW IDEA for a BOOK. That was a risk but they are not shy with their feedback. Plus this was an idea for a fictional story, brand new territory for me. Any way the most “air time” I get from them on my ideas is usually 5 – 10 minutes. So, you can guess my surprise when this particular topic spurred a three (yes, I said three) hour conversation. Well conversation isn’t exactly the right description. More like an interactive debate.

I think I may have something! If it can hold there interest and attention then I am pretty sure other’s will find it equally provocative.

Hmmmm……
