The Possibility Curve

Here’s the latest… my screenplay, Reclaim, did not make it into the final 12 at Sundance. Although this wasn’t the news I wanted, I’m still thrilled that my first screenplay made it into the final round. Still a risk I found worth taking and would take again in a second. The next contest is UCLA and Cinestory. I’ll keep you posted as I hear from them.The wisdom I can pass on is that I don’t have a single regret taking a year off to follow my passion. I have no idea where it will all lead; however, I already see a direct impact. In a screenplay, every word, counts. I mean literally. So one must become very judicious as to what words are used where and when. It is easy to still the power out of a scene with one extra sentence or word.This is already translating into my programs and keynotes. Fascinating how people hire you to talk but the most powerful thing you can say is sometimes… nothing.
