Here’s the latest… my screenplay, Reclaim, did not make it into the final 12 at Sundance. Although this wasn’t the news I wanted, I’m still thrilled that my first screenplay made it into the final round. Still a risk I found worth taking and would take again in a second. The next contest is UCLA [...]

I’ve just submitted Reclaim to the UCLA Screenplay Competitions. There are literally hundreds of competitions so I’ve found the key is to enter selectively based on criteria that works for me. I must thank Irin for his endless wisdom and advice as I grow and learn as a screenplay writer.

Since I’ve sent off the final version of my screenplay to Sundance it has felt a little like post-partum blues. I miss the deadlines, as well as, the creative inspiration and flow that I felt everyday for the last few months. It has allowed me to put that creative energy back into other projects that I [...]

I just got my script off to an agent out in L.A. and I’m up at 2:12 AM writing in my journal and setting a field of intention for the conference. I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I have a life coach in London who encouraged me to take something related to the [...]

Well, we had our first ‘table read’ and it was awesome to hear it come to life. Of course, I didn’t really know what I was doing… but that is nothing new. The Final Draft Software that I use has a voice feature which is great. It allows me to hear the script read by [...]

Writing my email today was an interesting experience. At the same time I was excited to share my adventure, and yet I was also very reluctant. It is interesting how fear raises its ugly head in so many different forms. My fears resolve around being afraid that I may appear arrogant. Or, what if the [...]

I’ll be at the Verizon Wireless Booth October 25th and 26th. Please stop by and say “Hi!”. This is Maria Shriver’s last conference as the Govenor’s wife. [...]

Reclaim was delivered to me through inspiration from the Universe. I’ve been supported by Angels both Divine and Earthly in my pursuit of writing a screenplay that was equal in it’s genius to the original inspiration. I’m humbled that I was chosen for such a daunting project. Everything I needed was provided. As it turns [...]

September 30, 2010 I’ve gotten everything done with time to spare. I’ve called FedEx to see the latest time I could drop it off. They informed me that their driver left at precisely 7:30PM. If it was not in the bag, ready to go, then it wouldn’t go. Lot’s of time to spare so I [...]
